Advance Conference – International Web and StartUp Conference in Cologne - September 19 & 20, 2011, Cologne (Germany)

If you are an internet startup and you’re looking for access to top-tier investors from across Europe this might just be your chance. On 19 – 20 September, digital media startups, renowned VCs, business angels and some of the brightest minds in technology and digital business will gather at the ADVANCE – International Web & Startup Conference, providing a rare occasion for entrepreneurs seeking exposure for their ideas.

Twelve startups will be selected to pitch their businesses in front of a high-class jury consisting of renowned VCs and business angels (Neuhaus Partners, Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments, blackbox, T-Venture, DuMont Venture, High-Tech Gründerfonds, Wellington Partners, iStep App Ventures, NRW Bank et al) and to participate in the competition for the ADVANCE award.

Apart from the opportunity to convince the jury in one-on-one talks, the top three startups will also be given the chance to present their business to the congress audience on the main stage.

The call for applications starts now and ends on August 26.

UPDATE: Due to a great cooperation with blackbox.vc we extended the application deadline to September 2nd!

 

Admission requirements:

– The team has to consist of at least two persons.
– The core business must focus on digital media (e. g. mobile apps, online/mobile games, social platforms, content-driven LBS, e-transaction platforms, advertising technologies, etc.).
