Stefan Menden is a Cologne-based experienced entrepreneur and business angel in the web 2.0, publishing and mobile space.

He has founded five technology companies and is the founder-CEO of the social career network squeaker.net. He has worked as a venture capitalist with Straub Ventures in London and is a co-founder of the European Venture Capital Network in London and Barcelona. His previous work experience includes the strategy consulting firm Oliver Wyman in Munich and Dubai where he worked on various growth and turn-around cases in telecoms, retail and private-equity. He holds a Master’s in Business Management and international management from University of Cologne. He was president of the OFW World Business Dialogue and today serves on OFW’s advisory board. He is on the advisory board of the European Pirate Summit – an entrepreneur event in Cologne. His current focus is to start new ventures. Above that he loves cooking fiery-hot asian dishes and enjoys cooling them down with Kölsch, Cologne’s local brew.
