Tine Thygesen starts things and builds companies. She has a particular fondness for technologies that connect people.
As a non-techie in a geek world her specialties are the commercial disciplines, in particular commercialization, brand building, scaling of operations, strategic connections and nurturing talent.
Tine is founder and CEO of Everplaces. A tech company trying to build the new standard in personal navigation by helping you find your way to people and places that are special to you. She is also a co-founder of Founders House, an invitation-only co working space for die-hard tech startups in Copenhagen.
Previous adventures include CEO of 23, a technology company best known for 23 Video, a SaaS platform which allows organizations to set up their own online TV channels, and CEO of Venture Cup Denmark, the Danish organization for helping new entrepreneurs that has been a part of the creation of more than 80 tech companies. Tine’s first startup step was in ecommerce where she started her first company in 2007, later sold in 2008.
A die-hard startup aficionado, Tine is heavily involved with the European startup scene and sits on the board and mentors a range or organizations such as Copenhagen School of Entrepreneurship,Seedcamp, Startup Bootcamp etc. She is also a member of a sounding board that helps Danish government decide on legislatory issues touching entrepreneurship.
